I recently attended a celebration for Briogeo Hair Care at Ricky’s NYC to fete the brand’s one year anniversary and its official placement on Ricky’s NYC shelves.
The event was packed from wall-to-wall with natural hair care and beauty enthusiasts, Briogeo fans and beauty insiders such as celebrity hair stylist Chuckie Amos and Texture Media and NaturallyCurly co-founder Michelle Breyer.
The champagne and words of congratulations flowed for Nancy and her team as guests enjoyed a complimentary braid bar sponsored by Swivelbeauty.com, mini makeovers, a photo booth and light refreshments.
Inspired by her grandmother’s homemade product recipes, Nancy Twine created Briogeo to fill a void and introduce what she describes as a “fresh, new take” on hair care for women who want radiant hair but don’t want to sacrifice their healthy, eco-chic lifestyles.
