Save the Date: ATA’s 8th Annual Presidential Forum on Tourism to Africa

The Africa Travel Association’s 8th annual Presidential Forum on Tourism to Africa will take place on Thursday, September 26th at New York University in conjunction with the United Nations’ General Assembly meetings.

The Honorable Sylvia Masebo, Minister of Tourism and Art for the Republic of Zambia
speaking at last year’s forum.

This year’s event will highlight investment in Africa’s growing tourism industry, with a focus on aviation and lodging. Tourism leaders from across the diaspora will participate in the program which includes keynote addresses from heads of state, an open conversation on tourism with African ministers, and a networking reception.

I attended last year’s event and as someone who is interested in traveling to Africa, I thought it was extremely informative. It also provided access to a number of tourism ministers and industry leaders who I may not have gotten a chance to meet otherwise. I look forward to attending again this year.
